Kamal Haasan, others have received a Rs 100-crore notice for remarks in Bigg Boss Tamil

Party leader Puthiya Tamizhagam filed a lawsuit against defamation against actor Kamal Haasan and others for Rs 100 crore.
Besides Kamal Haasan, opinions were given to Bigg Boss, the contestant and choreographer Gayatri Raghuram, a production company and a private television station for hurting the feelings of slum dwellers and those who live in huts through comments Of an actor on the reality show Bigg Boss Tamil.
In the legal notice, the party sought Rs 100 crore in damages if the actor and the television channel did not submit an unconditional excuse within seven days of receiving the notice.
In an episode of the Tamil Big Boss, participant Gayatri Raghuram made a remark about the behavior of another actor as one of those living in slums and huts.
The founder of Puthiya Tamizhagam, Dr. Krishnasamy, said that Gayatri Raghuram’s remarks had hurt the feelings of slum dwellers and huts. “This insults the lower castes and the lower strata of economic strata,” said the opinion.
Party leader Puthiya Tamizhagam also accused Kamal Haasan and others of having encouraged the casting behavior on the show for the TRP.
